Goodbye art commission, Adios Arkansas.....Oh shit vs. Yippie for Rob :)

And so the papers are signed - my wonderful significant what-not just became a manager in Missouri - he now has a store all to himself. More hours, but more pay. More responsibilities, but more control. Hopefully his excitement wins out in the end and he finds this is really what he hoped it'd be, and remain content.

I just had to call the woman who commissioned me, she had other artist offers so she'll be okay. She'll be hunting me on Craigslist in the future, after the move for something else that's exactly up my alley - my horses always etained their fantasy feel, not quite realistic with a hint of draconic nature. Meh, it seems to just be how I see them - beautiful manes and muzzles of suede, but the ability to turn and cause deadly damage at the drop of an unexpetcted spook...Mom, you know what I mean..so horgans or dracomares, my own style is truly a different horse of trade. She liked me, and that I asked so many questions t make sure it became exactly what she wanted. In the end before the call, she offered to pay more, buy all the supplies if needed. I do want to paint for her in the future, definitely - she understands that my annoying detail questions add up to her hapiness, and helping me understand the person who will live with my output for years to come. To me, this is paramount to a truly successful art buying experience..I'm very glad to have met this gal..

So as for me, I suppose we will be living a state away for a while. He'll be in Joplin, I'll remain here with the boys until the oldest is out of school. Somewhere in there, we'll try to get Mom and the kids up in the area to see if there's a place to move to, and pull him out early if need be. He's already at exit grade level, so it'd be okay in a couple of weeks, I think. Wow...this is going to be a monster sized change....I have packing to do, Rob leaves as soon as he gets home, I'll see him again....well....when I see him, I suppose.

Hugs to all, I'll be on sporadically from now on.

Shit. This is not going to be easy ~

I'm here - but mostly there..see me yet?

Okay, so I'm not posting on my own blog, but then again, I'm not painting either. Why? I burnt the crap out of the ame hand that was already injured.

As for posting, seriously, I'm posting the equivalent of 4-6 of my long post's worth on other people's blogs. Trust me, if you say something worth a comment from me, sarcastic, funny, or outright logical debate and opinion - well, you can bet your sweet ass I'll be over there aposting. Fact is, by the time I go through and vote up everyone and reply where applicable, my hand is killing me, as it is now. So, I'm going to try to fall asleep now, but I'm not gone - I'm here, or rather there, at another person's blog - maybe yours...you've probably seen me

Ah yes, see? the title indeed makes some sense, now doesn't it? Lol!

*hugs*

Help, I need a horse! (actually, just it's head..)

Hmm, yes, creepy,lol.

I know what I want. I have seen it. I cannot for the life of me pin the breed, and I *have* to get this breed's name to study features - I got my first *real* PAYING (holy shit) commission, the highest payed one yet.

It's for $150.00, but she's supplying the monster canvas (just over 2 1/2 foot by 3 1/4 foot) so the money is for time, talent, and paint. *Score.*

So, if you know ANYTHING about horses, please, please read the characteristics and tell me what horse breed you think it is. If I get several, I'll search them all and see which is closest. It's not much help to you, what little info I can give, but this is a hell of an oppurtunity and I *really, really* need your help. I honestly can't find it - I've spent the last 4 hours searching, and dammit, it's not a mini or a frigging round nosed pony at the fair. This thing...it's simply majestic. So. here's what I do know:

It's almost always depicted as being white, or pale grey.

Ears are moderately small, and held closer to the sides, rather than straight up and touching.

Sharp, heavy, obvious jawline.

Large eyes.

Nose isn't soft and rounded, but rather angular and prominent. Nostrils appear flared, even in photos where the horse seems quite relaxed.

Shoulders are muscular.

Neck is somewhat long, not bulky but not skinny. Sturdy and slender?

Sloping back, not short and stocky.

Graceful body. Not squat, but not devoid of muscle. This thing has presence.

All over, seems to be very defined, muscled yet graceful, very majestic and grandiose, and it's face very distinctive. Most noticable aspects of face being the smaller ears, large eyes, and bone structure definition with the long nose, scooped/sunk in looking forehead and prominent nostrils.

Anyone know this poor equine mystery? It has to be a horse profile, and as I don't usually draw animals, it'll have to be one I feel connected to. Out of over 400 I checked out, this is the only one who grabs my gaze, halts my heartbeat, and makes my mind whirl. Alas, of the few pictures I could find, none offered contact info to inquire as to breed,  nor did it state what it was. Now, sadly, I find the site's pages unavailable, so that's lost too. Any, and I do mean *any* ideas or opinion/info/advice would be so greatly appreciated. I love this horse - but what/who is it?

I was excited and confident, but now after finding myself without an obvious reference, I'm feeling more like a blind gelding - I can't find shit, and I'm losing my proverbial balls here......

*yelp*

Ah, go suck a teabag (you'll wonder why you did it tomorrow)

Good morning !

IF - you are one of many who went a-bagging, hope you had fun Now to the real point - it's a crock of shit.

Not the whole protesting bit, nor what you belive in - those things are absolutely fine, in fact, I applaud you for giving a damn enough for having both in you heart. Good for you, here's your cookie! (Not sarcastic, I give cookies as treats for being a good, caring, helpful, individual here in reality with my boys. You get chocolate.)

NOW - if you think that makes no sense at all, and want to know why I'm against the crock-pot that is the TEAbagging revolution, read on mah bruthas and sistahs, it's some kind of fubar....

You hear about this grassroots, power to the people, don't tread on me assembly, with the illusion that the regular people are trying to take back its rightful freedoms of excess taxation and spending - okay, but...

Um....I have to say you are misinformed on a few key things, but I say this with respect and *tons* of research behind it, okay?

'Teaparties' are NOT base level, you and me kind of grassroots. It's astroturf activism. If you don't know what that implies, it's a fairly new popular term (been around but wasn't used much til now) that describes the movement as personal interest/gains lobbyists with funding then to airtime with other niche view media for some added momentum and advertising, and then finally, down to newspapers, bloggers like us, and at long last, people like you and me...well, actually just you, lol.

It's *not* basic people pushing this, and Freedom Works creator and media hound Dick Armey is at the helm of it all. And he's not the only one. Read for youreself.

http://www.freedomworks.org/news/the-tea-party-movement-whos-in-charge

A quick glance also at his "About" section there at the FW site, you'll find he started this campaign long ago, but each time renames and re-arranges what it's called and what it's against as his personal values evolve into...whatever Dick's got.

I respect you all for not just caring and bragging, but *doing*. I admire that you have an individual reason for joining that doesn't involve hype, but only your own heartfelt opinion - and I do wish there were more like you who'd belive something and still defend it as strongly and enough verve the next day as tides change.

I'm not going to agree with your ideas per se, though I see your point and raise you a blue chip...I won't push my values here, it's not me and you things that I'm saying this over, nor my own opinions on Obama and the system. This, friends, is simply over the 'teaparty' bit, which, btw, isn't actual grassroots anything - and out of 3 million examples one could ask, everyone has a different belief in what it's actually for. It's only meant to get people to get angry, fed up, show up, & protest...to protest what and why, well, most people have no clue. It's just cooler and more ego-driving to rage against the machine (not like some of you, who *know* why they chose to be there.)

I'm an activist. Tried and true, oldschool in your face, petition signing if it'll work, and marching if it won't kinda gal. Mom, (nyourfacegrace) is too - that's why we are against this Teacrap, as some call it - it's a misrepresentation for personal gain by several corporate lobbyists gifted to the unknowing public, with the veil of authentic concern for each individual's freedoms. And it's they who irritate the living weasleshit outta me.

I love y'all. I truly do - but know this : I will continue to wish the movement were based in and belonged to the general public, were not funded and propegated by Dick's Armey (yeppers, pun intended as he gets on my nerves) , and that it were streamlined into basic theorem, as in :

Person 1 asks: "teaparty? What's that for?"

Person 2 replies:" It's to protest higher taxes and wasteful spending".

That were the case, I'd be glad - good points, both. BUT - if person 1 actually asked that in reality, he'd get all this and more from person 2..and 3, and..so many reasons, yet no one knows the right one for the whole group's goal - you'll see signs against gays, abortion, you name it - even racism and illegal immigration signs abound in *MOST* groups teabagging. Wtf does that have to do with it? Nothing. They really have no clue what the T.E.A. stands for, which is:

 Taxed Enough Already.

Please, if you're going to join the reich against the injustices you abhore, just fucking read on it first and *KNOW* your shit before bragging to those who, like me, have been fighting the 'man' and calling them out on their lies since before asshats like  O'Rielly,Dobbs,McCain,Palin, Limbaugh and more - and there's been alot of liberal dems with stupid ideas I've fought against too (I'm not your typical r/l or dem/rep kind of choice gal, I choose what I belive and trust is for the betterment of the nation as a whole, short and long term only, and I abide by those only). That said, I read *daily*. I research, I look up public records and government documents for fact checking. I don't weight my values and truth-liability onto the shoulders of Fox and CNN alone. I check *everything*. Just please, really get to know what you're doing. I won't agree, honestly, but I'll respect the hell out of you.

I'm going to go hunting for sticks now, so hugs, & tea!

Lilli
